Based in Orange County, California, Scott W. Graves (www.scottgraves.com) is a partner in Sarphi, Inc. a consulting and online development firm focused on the convergence of emerging media and political communications.
Scott began his political activism at Partisan Media Group, publisher of the Red County network of political blogs (www.redcounty.com). He served as the company’s President & Editor-in-Chief until the organization was merged with an online financial commentary website in early 2009.
Later this year, Scott is launching the Open Government Institute of California, which will combine the tools of new and traditional media to directly impact the transparency, accountability, performance, and effectiveness of the California state government.
Scott earned an MBA from the University of Southern California. His studies emphasized information technology and strategic planning. He earned an undergraduate degree in political science from California State University, Fullerton.
